15 Perish In Gory Accident at Juaso

Fifteen people have died after a collision between two vehicles at Juaso Three Lane on the Accra-Kumasi highway in the Asante Akim South Municipality.

The collision between a Ford Transit vehicle with registration number GT 4674-22 and an empty DAF FX tanker with registration number GT 1674-17 happened on July 28, 2025.

The fifteen who perished included 11 females and four males, per data from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

The bodies were transported to the Steward Morgue while the only surviving victim was taken to the Juaso Government Hospital.

She is said to have sustained an injury and was rescued by the public before the GNFS crew’s arrival.

In a statement, the Service said the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
