You’ve made science and maths attractive- Otumfuo

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has commended the Management of Primetime Limited, Organizers of National Science and Maths Quiz, for making the studies of Science and Maths attractive recently.

According to Otumfuo, organising science and maths competitions have made the course attractive and more flexible.

He further stated that the study of the subjects cannot be downplayed because nation development depends on it.

“During our childhood, we used to fear maths teachers and dislike the subject but the method you’re using now has made things flexible and less complex”

“This will help students acquire the knowledge for excellence and improve the competition amongst students because everybody wants to come first”, Otumfuo said.

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu Il gave the remark when the management of Primetime Limited paid a courtesy call at the Manhyia Palace yesterday, November 12, 2020.

The management included the Quiz mistress, Prof Elsie Effah Kaufmann, the Managing Director of Primetime, Nana Akua Ankomah Asare, and the Founder, Kwaku Mensah Bonsu.

They were applauded for their contribution which has broadened their knowledge in science and maths.

“Including the education Service in the organization of the competition, we will allow free flow of the subject teaching which is a good thing because the country’s advancement depends on sciences,” Asantehene said.

The team was there to officially inform the King of their presence in the region pending science and mathematics-related activities.

The Founder, Kwaku Mensah Bonsu disclosed that the National Finals takes place at KNUST starting on the 15th to the 26th of November 2021.

“We’re hosting the finals at KNUST, and we can’t go ahead with the competition without your notice since you’re the chancellor for the university.”
