Wife Kills 100year Old Husband With ‘Woma‘ Pestol-Police

A man believed to be in 100th year has allegedly been murdered by his wife at Kyenkyenase, according to the Dormaa East District Police Command.
The old woman is reported to have struck her husband with a pounding pestol after a contention sparked between them.
Confirming the incident to a Citinews reporter, the Dormaa East District Police Commander,
DSP Kwesi Asante said his team went to the scene to find the lifeless body of the old man, about 100 years old and a pestol (the one used to pound fufu) beside him.
“And Investigations revealed that the woman used the pestol to hit the head of the deceased.
“They had a small confrontation and when the man was preparing himself, putting on his footwear for the farm, as he bent down, this woman hit the head.
The man fell down and died instantly”, he narrated.
He also noted that the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Presbyterian Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The woman is said to be in police grips pending trial anytime from now.
