What To Do If Unable to Recharge Your Nuri Prepaid Meter
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a completion of the upgrade in Nuri Prepaid meters as part of the Standard Transfer Specifications (STS) protocol.
The exercise ended on November 24. In a statement, the ECG expressed appreciation to the Nuri customers for their “support and cooperation” during this upgrading exercise.
However, the ECG recognizes some customers may still be confronted with recharging challenges. Such customers have been directed to contact their call centres for further direction.
“NURI Customers who could not upgrade their meters or may have difficulties topping up credit should call our Contact Center on 0302-611611 or on our Social Media platforms @ECGghOfficial or visit the closest ECG District Office for assistance.”
Meanwhile, it apologized for the inconvenience caused.
Many Nuri meter users took to social media to vent their displeasure at their challenges in recharging.
Many customers were plunged into darkness in the course of the period as they were unable to purchase credits to keep their lights on.
