The Porcupine Warriors were eliminated from the CAF Champions League last Sunday, 18th of September, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko suffered a 3-1 penalty shootouts defeat to Burkinabe side Kadiogo after a 1-1 aggregate score.
In a new post on social media, goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad pledged a better performance in the Kotoko despite their defeat.
“Not the best results in the CAF champions league game yesterday but we promise to do our best this season. We are out but the season is not over. We shall be back” he tweeted.
Kotoko will now focus on the Ghana Premier League as they prepare to face their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
After that, they have two outstanding league matches against Nsotreman FC and Bechem United.
