We Don’t Love NPP Anymore; You Have Disappointed Us-Antoa Youth To NPP
A section of the Asanteman Youth Association in the Kwabre East Constituency has expressed their bitterness over the New Patriotic Party and the government at large concerning the deplorable roads in the constituency.
They voiced out their grievances in a press conference at Antoa in the Kwabre East Constituency on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
According to the group leader, Amanin Kwarteng, who doubles as the Unit Committee Chairman in Antoa Electoral Area, all Kwabre East Constituency roads have been in terrible shape since time immemorial notwithstanding the massive votes the good people of Kwabre East gave to NPP in 2016 and 2020.
He bemoaned the poor condition of Antoa-Adesina roads, Sakora Wonoo-Asonomaso roads, Kenyasi-Bosore roads, Mamponteng township roads, Dwumanfo-Mamponteng roads, and other Kwabre East Constituency link roads.
In addition, Amanin Kwarteng indicated that the Ashanti Region deserves better in terms of monumental development as the region remains the backbone of the New Patriotic Party.
He lamented the fact that Nyinahin Bauxite under the synohydro project has been developing in other areas of the country while situated in the Ashanti Region.
Amanin Kwarteng on behalf of the youth described the 47 Members of Parliament as not in a position to bring monumental developments to the region but to gain their parochial interests.
He said, “The NPP government is mocking Ashanti Region in terms of monumental projects.”
Furthermore, some of the drivers on the Antoa also spoke with Opemsuo Radio’s Kwame Adu Gyamfi Kumanin concerning the terrible state of the Antoa roads as they become stranded before and after heavy downpours.
