Viral Video: Tyreless DAF Vehicle Driver Arrested

The police have arrested driver of the DAF truck which was captured in a viral video plying on a road without back tyres.

The registration number of the truck is AS 7324- 12.

The driver was arrested on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Ejisu, the police disclosed.

Meanwhile, the vehicle has been confiscated by the police.

“We highly commend the person who spotted the vehicle, took the video footage, and alerted the Police. We wish to urge others to endeavour to bring such issues to the attention of the Police for immediate action”, the Ghana Police Service stated in a press release.
