Togo Calls For Former Ghanaian Player Ahead Of Intl Friendly Matches

The Togolese Football Federation has written to the President of Egypt’s Ismaily Sporting Club to release former Ashanti Gold winger, Yaw Annor ahead of Togo’s international friendly matches.

“To this end, in accordance with the regulation of status and transfer of FIFA, we kindly ask you to make the said player available to the Togolese Football Federation”, the letter said.

The call-up by Togo can only mean that the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League top scorer has switched nationality.

The Federation wants the player released from September 19 to September 27.

The letter noted that the former Ghanaian has been preselected for two matches slated for September 24 and 27.

Togo will play against Cote D’Ivoire and Equatorial Guinea in Paris and Casablanca respectively in the international friendlies.
