The President Has Positioned Bawumia To Win The 2024 Election – Political Analyst
Political Analyst, Jonathan Asante Okyere has claimed that there are clear indications that President Akufo-Addo has positioned Dr. Bawumia to win the 2024 NPP flagbearership race.
According to him, the President’s actions indicate that he has thrown his support to the Vice President even though he has not made it publicly known.
Mr. Asante Okyere stated that the president has made Dr. Bawumia to be commissioning a lot of projects in recent times in order to gain public favour. He said, in 2020 all projects including minor ones were commissioned by the President himself but now that he is no more seeking another mandate from the people has become a deciding factor in selling Bawumia to the people of Ghana.
He reiterated that the gurus in the party are interested in pursuing their individual interests which at the moment will divide the party in all sides until they are done with the internal elections.
He said that the disregard for the party’s orders in organizing the “Aduru wo so health walk” in favour of Alan Kyeremateng could have resulted in President Akufo-Addo’s action against the Trade Minister but cannot put forward such action because the Minister’s massive grassroots support.
