The Football Calendar Won’t Wait For You, Frimpong Manso Tells Kotoko Board And Management

Ex-footballer for Asante Kotoko SC, Frimpong Manso, has expressed his disappointment to the Board and Management of the Ghanaian giants following their seeming fracas.
The Board and Management of the two-time CAF Champions League winners are yet to meet to assess the team for the just ended season to set the tone for the one ahead.
And the former coach for the club believes that such attitude will only stampede the progress of the club.
Other clubs are busy on the transfer market to augment their squad, but Kotoko is yet to announce one signing and their substantive coach is also outside the country.
Speaking on Opemsuo 104.7 fm evening sports show, Pramaso, the experienced gaffer said, “what is currently going on doesn’t befit a big club like Kotoko. It is unfortunate at this model of time there is news out there that there is an issue between Board and Management, and that is the reason they are yet to meet.”
“Both parties should note that the football calendar will not wait for them to finish fighting, so, the earlier they end the fight, the better for them and Kotoko.”
The 2021/22 season will start on the 29th of October this year, and supporters of Asante Kotoko are expecting their club to win the League title.
