Konongohene Nana Batafo Akyeampong Nti II, The Board, The CEO, The Management and the entire Playing Body learnt with shock the end of the lives of young and talented footballers through the fatal accident that occurred on the Kumasi-Offinso road last Saturday.

It is heart wrenching, to be greeted with such a disheartening news of a juvenile football team (African Vision FC), that has all the good intentions of nurturing raw talents to be legends for the beautiful game, to meet their untimely death in such a horrendous manner. Our thoughts are with African Vision FC, the families of the departed souls, and the sports fraternity for our loss.

We at Owerriman FC believe, this will be a wake up call for all who matter, as a matter of importance, to be diligent in our endeavors to ensure that the right things are done and the rule of law is adhered to, so as to do away with any such future occurrences. Nevertheless we also believe, that this should not deter us from moving forward in our football talent development.

Long live Ghana football!
Long live Juvenile football!!
Long live Owerriman FC!!!

Yours in Sports,

…Signed…
(KWABENA OWUSU DANKWH)
