“My mother didn’t want me to play football” – Augustine Sefa

 
Asante Kotoko right-back, Augustine Sefa, has made an astonishing revelation of how his biological mother opposed his decision to choose football over education.
According to the former Kessben FC defender, his mother had a fracas with him which led to loggerhead for two years after declining her advise to pursue a course in Mechanical Engineering at Accra Polytechnic.

Speaking on Opemsuo 104.7fm, Sefa disclosed that, his siblings had to steal food for him to eat because the mother had taken decision not to give him food again after opposing her advice not to further his education.
“My mother didn’t speak to me for two years when I chose to play football instead of pursuing a course in Mechanical Engineering at Accra Polytechnic. My siblings had to steal food for me because she won’t give me food,” Augustine Sefa disclosed.
