Exclusive: Benjamin Tweneboah Hauls Elmina Sharks To Status Committee

Highly-rated winger, Benjamin Tweneboah, has dragged Premier League side Elmina Sharks to Ghana Football Association’s Players Status Committee to demand for his remuneration.

Benjamin Tweneboah ended his five-year spell with Elmina Sharks this season after his contract runs out.

But Elmina Sharks, a team owned by former Progressive People’s Party Presidential candidate, Papa Kwasi Nduom is yet to settle the amount due the talented footballer.

The player filed his case this afternoon at the Players Status Committee to demand for his salaries and Signing-on-fee amounting to Ghc30000.

Before Tweneboah left Elmina Sharks to Aduana Stars, the Deputy General Manager for Elmina Sharks, Kelvin Aboagye confirmed that their talisman Benjamin Tweneboah left his side due to unpaid salaries.

Tweneboah scored three goals in 10 games for Elmina Sharks in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season before joining Aduana Stars.
