Six-Year-Old KG2 Pupil Allegedly Defiled by Mallam
A shocking incident has occurred in Twifo Ampekro, where a six-year-old KG2 pupil from Twifo Ampekro Shed D/A Basic School has allegedly been defiled by a 25-year-old man known as John Afedzi, popularly called A.T, who claims to be a spiritual consultant (Mallam).
The victim’s mother, Sarah Antwi, noticed significant changes in her daughter’s behaviour and gait. The child also cried intensely during urination, prompting her concerned mother to investigate the cause.
To her horror, she discovered that her daughter had been defiled.
Sarah Antwi immediately reported the incident to the Twifo Ampekro Shed Unit Committee.
Following a thorough investigation by the committee, Mallam John Afedzi A.T was identified as the alleged perpetrator.
The victim’s parents rushed her to the Twifo Praso District Hospital, where medical professionals confirmed that there had been forceful sexual contact in the child’s genital area.
The mother described the devastating consequences of the incident, explaining that her child is now unable to walk, eat properly, and constantly wears diapers. Moreover, the child experiences severe pain during urination.
The Hemang Police in the Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira district are currently investigating the matter, ensuring that justice is served for the traumatized victim and her family.
