Abandoned Hospitals: Bawumia Shoots Down NDC’s “Propaganda”

Contrary to disinformation from the leading members of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), the Akufo-Addo Government has  completed several health projects it inherited from the previous Government.
“Out of the 30 projects that we inherited from the previous Government in the health sector, we have completed 16  them including ten polyclinics, two district hospitals, there is also ongoing construction of another nine district hospitals.”
The Vice President, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia  made this known speaking at a Virtual Government Town Hall Meeting and Results Fair4t in Accra to create awareness on the Government’s investment in infrastructure since it took over power in 2017 and discounted the claims of the former President. Former President John Dramani Mahama on quiet a few occasions accused the Government of abandoning  multitudinous projects inherited and promising to complete them when voted back into power.
Refuting these claims, Dr. Bawumia disclosed that in the health sector, the Government has completed 16 out of 30 projects it came to meet wondering why the former President without verifying his facts go to town with family unsubstantiated allegations.
He said the sixteen completed projects include polyclinic, District hospitals and others which are at various levels of completion.
