Police Officer Crushed To Death

Constable Ernest Newton Dwamena, a police officer with the Savannah Regional Operations Department has died whilst on official duty in Buipe.
The accident took place on Wednesday, 29th September 2021.
He is reported to have died instantly after a truck driver lost control and run him over.
According to the police a thorough investigation will be conducted to ascertain the cause and institute the necessary action.
“The Savannah Regional Police Command led by DCOP Ebenezer Larbi visited the family of Ernest at Kintampo in the Bono East Region to commiserate with them.
 
“The Ag. IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare also reached out to the parents via a phone call and extended the condolences of the Police Administration to them”, the police said.
