Joyceline Owusu emerged as the Twedie community Champion in the Community Stage of the Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge (OCRC) on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
The fourteen-year-old was the fourth female to win the reading challenge at the community stage.
She is a student of the Manuel International School.
She was among fifty-seven (57) contestants from 19 Schools that participated in the competition in the community.
Joyceline received a five hundred cedis cash prize from Konahene Nana Konadu Yiadom IV as part of his GHc30, 000 cash prize to all community stage Champions.
Her school, the Manuel International school, also received Ghc500 from Tredehene Nana Nuben Sra III as part of his Ghc30, 000 cash prize to schools of community champions.
As of April 14, the challenge had fished out seven community champions including, Maame Asarewaa Adu Gyamfi, the Nkawie Champion, Henry Dwight Yorke, the Abuakwa champion, Michael Asuako, the Tanoso Champion, Mary Afriyie Manu, the Nyankerenease champion, Stansy Akua Karikari, the Asuoyeboah Community Champion and Davis Amankona, the Atwima-Techiman community champion.
