OCRC: Agric Community Reading Champion Discovered

The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation’s reading competition has found Stella Darko as the community champion for the Agric community.

The thirteen-year-old student of Holy Cross R/C JHS emerged as the winner among his counterparts from different schools in the community on April 20, 2022.

She received five hundred cedis cash from Konahene Nana Konadu Yiadom IV as part of his GHc30, 000 cash prize to all community stage Champions.

Her school, the Holy Cross R/C JHS, also received Ghc500 from Tredehene Nana Nuben Sra III as part of his Ghc30, 000 cash prize to schools of community champions.

The challenge now has nine community champions including, Maame Asarewaa Adu Gyamfi, the Nkawie Champion, Henry Dwight Yorke, the Abuakwa champion, Michael Asuako, the Tanoso Champion, and Mary Afriyie Manu, the Nyankyerenease champion.

The rests are Stansy Akua Karikari, the Asuoyeboah Community Champion, Davis Amankona, the Atwima-Techiman community champion, Joyceline Owusu, the Twedie community Champion and Emmanuel Agyekum, the Kwadaso community champion.

The OCRC team is now scouting for fifty-one more community champions to make it to the Knock-out Stage.
