NPA Warns Defaulting OMCs

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has issued a notice to Oil Marketing companies (OMC) owing the Private distribution Margin Fund (PDMF).

The notice published by the NPA outlined 45 OMCs owing the Fund.

The Authority has given the defaulting OMCs up until the end of September to settle their debts.

It noted that the names of the Directors and shareholders of companies that fail to settle their debt by the scheduled time, will have their names published.

Additionally, it noted that lawful action will be taken against them.
