NHIA Welcomes Okoe Boye
The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has issued a warm welcome to its Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye days after his appointment.
“Welcome Chief Executive”, the Authority captioned a flyer welcoming the former deputy Health Minister.
In a letter dated April 21, 2022, his appointment was confirmed by the Chief of Staff at the Jubilee House, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare.
“I am pleased to inform you that the President has appointed you to act as the Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Authority (the “Authority”), pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing board of the Authority, given in consultation with the Public Service Commission”.
The appointment took effect yesterday, May 3, 2022.
