Asantehene, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has added three additional members to the Board of Directors of Asante Kotoko SC to bolster the financial muscle and corporate integrity of the Ghanaian giants.

A press statement signed by the Chief of Staff at Manhyia Palace, Mr. Kofi Badu, on Monday announced the three new members to be added to the already 9-member Board to make it a 12-member Board of Directors for the Porcupines.

The Chief of Staff in the press release stated that it is a rare move by the owner to bolster the financial muscle and corporate integrity of the club.

The new members include the Chief Executive Officer of the leading energy group, Rigworld Group, Mr. Kofi Amoa-Abban, Mr. James Osei Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Joshop Construction Company, an A1-rated construction group, and Mr. Martin Osei Kwaku Brobbey, Managing Director of Lexta Ghana Limited, a leader in the home and personal care industry in Ghana.

The three new Directors were received yesterday by the Life Patron of Kotoko, His Majesty Otumfuo Asantehene at Manhyia Palace to pledge and commit all the resources necessary to upturn the club to a new international level within the shortest possible time.
