Ivor Kobina Greenstreet Pays Courtesy Call On Asantehene

Presidential candidate for Convention People’s Party (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, has paid a courtesy call on the overlord of Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia Palace.

The visit forms part of the Presidential Candidate’s resolve to introduce himself to the highly revered King of Asante Kingdom ahead of the December 7 general elections.

Millions of Ghanaians will go to the polls again on December 7, 2020, following the expiration of the mandatory four years of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo as the President of Ghana in the most sacred of all democracy’s rituals, to elect a new leader.

Otumfuo Asantehene, addressing the delegation, admonished them to seek peace and ensure politics with no insult which has the tendency to jeopardize the peaceful atmosphere in the country.

He added that the Convention People’s Party which is the oldest existing political party in the country should set good example for other political parties to emulate.

Ivor Kobina Greenstreet who for the past eight years has been the Presidential Candidate for the political party that birth Ghana’s independence assured Otumfuo Osei Tutu II of issue-based-politics and also sought for his immaculate blessings to spring forth his victory.

The CPP delegation that visited His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II included H.E. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, Presidential Candidate, Prof. Emmanuel Bobobee, Vice Presidential Candidate, Mr. R.O. Frimpong-Manso, Member, Council of Elders, Mr. Onsy Kwame Nkrumah, Vice Chairman, Nana Yaa Jantuah, General Secretary, Mr. Osei Kofi Acquah, National Youth Organiser, Hajia Sulley Futa, Women’s Organiser, Mr. Moses Yirimambo, National Organiser, Mr. Emmanuel Opare Addo, National Treasurer, and other Regional Executives.
