Nana Boakye Ansah Debra, Asokore Mampong hene, has reiterated the need for Ashantis in the diaspora to continue to cherish their rich exceptional culture that is extremely distinguished in the world.

In a short yet beautiful ceremony at Manhyia Palace during Asanteman Europe Association’s presentation to the King of Asante and the occupant of the Golden stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Nana Nana Boakye Ansah Debra used the opportunity to applaud Asanteman Europe for complementing the effort of Asantehene in his ferocious fight against COVID-19.
“It is always heartwarming to see our people in this kind gesture situation. It makes Asantehene proud. And, it tells us that, the toil of our grandfathers has not gone waste.”

The group, on Wednesday, at Manhyia Palace donated the following items to help the ferocious fight against the novel COVID-19 pandemic, PPEs– N95 nose masks, surgical face masks, protective gowns, face shields, examination gloves, and Asanteman Europe customized water (200 Boxes or 4800 bottles) to front line workers
Others included ten modern beds with accessories and Phototherapy machine.
The non-profit organization comprises Ashantis in the European countries seeking for greener pastures.
