Asante Kotoko Strike Deal: Chibsah Should Have Waited For The Board Before Expanding Business- Ex GM

Former General Manager for Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Nana Akwasi Gyambibi Coker claims that Club Consult Africa’s Chief, Yussif Alhassan Chibsah, should have met the Kotoko Board before manufacturing nose mask.

There has been a glittering fire between Nana Akwasi Gyambibi Coker and Yussif Chibsah in the media landscape about what the former General Manager describes as ‘unfair’ deal.

Club Consult Africa is the firm that brokered Asante Kotoko’s three-year deal with Portuguese kit manufacturer, Strike.

According to Nana Akwasi Gyambibi, the erstwhile Management dissolved recently was in a process of terminating the contract between Asante Kotoko and Club Consult Africa and finds it fascinating why Chibsah resolved to go ahead to expand the business.
“It was so wrong for Chibsah to go ahead to manufacture the nose mask on the market when it is that we (previous management members) engaged him to terminate his contract. Chibsah should have waited for the Board to engage him before expanding his business,” said Nana Akwasi Gyambibi in an exclusive interview on Opemsuo 104.7 evening sports show, Pramaso.

The sponsorship deal, signed in November 2018, runs until October 2021.
