National Sports Authority Closes GPL Match Venues

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced the closure of match venues for the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League.

The Authority notes that the measure will remain in place until further notice.

“Management of the National Sports Authority (NSA) wishes to inform the general public, especially the Ghana Premier League Clubs, that all match venues under the auspices of the Authority are closed for the 2022/2023 betPawa Premier League until further notice”.

According to the NSA, the decision is in accordance with the High court’s injunction filed by Ashanti Gold Sporting Club against the League.

“The Authority abides by this order of the High Court, as such, all matches and activities in relation to the betPawa Premier league are suspended in all our facilities”, a press release from NSA said.
