Former Asante Kotoko and Kano Pillars coach, Abdul Malik Jabir, has heaped praises on Nana Yaw Amponsah for initiating some innovative ways of embellishing the African Club of the Century.
According to the former club Legend, he never believed Nana Yaw Amponsah could do what he has done so far.
The former Ghana Football Association Presidential candidate was named as the Chief Executive Officer for Asante Kotoko in the month of August 2020.
After two months of his appointment, works are ongoing at the Adako Jachie training grounds, and he has also secured partnerships with Italian based kits manufacturer, Erreà, Adonko next level energy drink and Hisense.
Speaking on Opemsuo 104.7 FM evening sports show, Pramaso, in an exclusive interview, Malik Jabir disclosed, “I never tipped him (Nana Yaw Amponsah) to be doing so good in his early days with the club. We should all allow the young man to work to give his best for the club.”
“He has started so well with some new innovative ways of progressing the club, and I am getting surprised about how he has started.”
Nana Yaw Amponsah has three seasons to work for the Ghanaian giants to reclaim its pre-eminent position among the elite clubs of Africa.
