NABCO Trainees Abort Protest At Jubilee House

The President of the Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) Association of Ghana, Dennis Opoku Katakyie has announced their intention to picket at the Jubilee House has been aborted.

This is due to failure to reach consensus on the endpoint of their protest during a meeting with the Accra Regional Police Command on Sunday.

“We were asked to change the location owing to the fact that its a security zone and for that matter for some reasons, so such exercise cannot be held there. The police suggested that we use the Independence Square for the second time but was not accepted by the leadership of NABCO Trainees (NABTAG).

“The first picketing was held at the Independence Square but we have received no positive outcome, therefore, we cannot afford to repeat the venue”, a part of the letter said.

Due to that, the leadership of the Association has decided to cancel the protest which was to take place tomorrow, September 20, 2022, however, it is contemplating on a new approach to stage the protest which will be communicated soon.

The Association is demanding from the Akufo-Addo-led government, its ten month allowance arrears.
