List of Areas To Be Affected By Sunday’s Maintenance By ECG
A number of areas in the Ashanti Region will be affected by a planned maintenance by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) on Sunday, it has been announced.
A notice from the company on Friday said the maintenance is meant to improve its service delivery to the earmarked areas.
The areas will experience power outage between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm.
Earmarked areas include Kokosu, Ampabame, Abrepo, Bohyen, Asubonteng, Ohwin, Military Barracks (complex), Military Barracks (behind KATH), Cultural Centre, Apatrapa, Sofoline, Prempeh College, Kwadaso, North & South Suntreso, Ghana Water Office-Suame, Apatrapa, Bantama, Kejetia, Suame, Magazine, Angel Int School, Asuoyeboa, Tanoso, Abuakwa and it’s environs.
Also are Manhyia, Koforidua, Kasapreko Factory, Mankraso, Mpasatia, Sepaase, Kronum, Barekese, Asuofia, CONSAR Quarry, Adankwame, Trabuom, Boko, Nacchia Quarry, Abira, Offinso, Barekese Headworks, Boamang, Tetrem, Habitat, Ahenkuro and KCG Company.
It also includes Manso-Nkwanta, Antoakrom, Mem, Safokrom, Agroyesurn, Yawkrom, Ankam, Aponapon, Nkensere, Manso Adubia, Nweneso, Odahu, Atwire, Abore, Moseaso, Amankyea, Essuowin, Esaase, Bontefofum, Mpatuom, Ahwerewa, Aboba, Tetekaaso, Jeninso, Seidi and surrounding areas.
“ECG regrets the inconvenience that will arise out of it,” it added.
