Joseph Addo Resumes Training Ahead of Kotoko Clash

Experienced goalkeeper Joseph Addo has resumed training ahead of the blockbuster league game between Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko.

The goalkeeper has not been in post for the last four matches for the Dormaa based club due to injury.

The former U-20 goalkeeper has been one of the safest pair of hands in the local league and his return from injury will boost the confidence of Aduana Stars.

Confirming the news on Opemsuo 104.7 fm evening sports show, Pramaso, Evans Oppong who is the club’s Communications Manager said, “It is true our champion goalkeeper Joseph Addo who has missed our last four matches has resumed training. It is unknown if he could be handed a starting position.”

Aduana Stars will host Asante Kotoko in match week 27 of the Ghana Premier League on their favourite grounds on Dormaa.

Matches involving the two sides always have different complexion other than the normal football. There is a bit of culture that makes it an exciting game to watch.

Aduana Stars is placed at the 8th position with 39 points while Asante Kotoko who are yet to pick the three maximum points is lying at the second position with 46 points.

Kotoko needs to at least grab a point to keep their hopes of winning this season’s League especially when Hearts who are leading the log are in blistering form.
