It’s Wrong For Odike To Accuse Chiefs On Galamsey – Obiri Boahen

Legal Practitioner, and former NPP Deputy General Secretary, Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen has said that it is wrong for the United Progressive Party’s Founder and Leader Akwasi Addae Odike to accuse Chiefs in relation to issues of illegal mining (Galamsey) to the extent of inciting the youth potentially to invade the privacies of the Chiefs.

According to him, most of the chiefs are clueless about permits and licenses granted to these illegal or legal mining operators.

Speaking on Opemsuo Radio with Agudey, Nana Obiri Boahen stated that he has personally encountered several chiefs on such issues, and with the valid information he has attests that the chiefs do not play any role in mining, its permit, and licensing.

This suggests that Odike is clueless about the issue and has no right to accuse or subject the youth to stand against chiefs.
