“If Persuasion Fails..”- Agyemang Manu Prepares To ‘Haul’ People To Vaccination Centres

The Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu is preparing to “push” people to vaccination Centers to take the COVID jab after efforts to convince them to voluntarily comply failed.

He revealed this during an interview on GBC.

During the interview, he divulged that a lot of plans that will push people to take the jab are yet to be unfolded.

He further alluded to the popular saying that “If persuasion fails, force is applied”.

Kwaku A. Manu said that “the Ghana Health Service (GHS) team has actually done a strategic meeting and they have come up with proposals sitting on my desk. They have come up with protocols that will ensure that people are pushed a little bit.”

“Effective Tuesday, January 4, 2022, everybody entering the Ministry of Health building must be vaccinated before they are admitted. Valid vaccination cards will be, therefore, required for the entry” the MoH Boss announced to the media.

Many Ghanaians however feel it’s out of law to make vaccination mandatory rather than by choice. To such persons, this is an answer from the Health Minister, “We (the vaccinated) also should not be compelled for you (the unvaccinated) to give us your disease”.
