I Am Not A Gospel Musician- Stella ‘Dugan’
Ace musician, Stella Aba seal, previously Stella Dugan, has indicated that she is not a gospel musician, rather, a Christian musician or a spiritual musician, if one likes.
“I am a Christian musician or a spiritual musician. Elder Mireku is a spiritual musician.”
According to her, anyone at all can be a gospel musician but not everyone is or can be a Christian or spiritual musician.
“Gospel means good news. Shatta Wale can sing a gospel song”, she stated in an interview on The Legends on TV XYZ.
The mother of three explained that her definition of a spiritual musician is based on the fact that spiritual songs draw people close to God and not all songs can do that.
“Not anyone who sings gospel is a Christian”, she added.
Seal also confirmed her divorce refusing to give any further detail about it.
“Oye Nyame”, “Gyem Taataa”, “Ontonko”, “Mebo me sanku”, “Okura yen mu”, etc are songs Stella is known for.
She came to the limelight in the 80s.
