Gov’t Spokesperson: Aisha Huang Was Indeed Deported

The government’s spokesperson on Security and Governance, Palgrave Boakye Danquah has assured Ghanaians that Galamsey queen, Aisha Huang was indeed deported in 2017.

According to him, there are supporting documents to prove her deportation.

His response comes after some Ghanaians expressed scepticism over her deportation following her rearrest in the country last week and her possession of a Non-Ghanaian card issued by the National Identification Authority (NIA).

In an interview on Eyewitness News, Palgrave said “Aisha Huang was deported. We have records to prove that.”

But he believes it hasn’t gotten to a point where the government will have to bring out the document.

“President Akufo-Addo has not lied about her {deportation}”, he said.
