The Jubilee House, the seat of Ghana’s presidency, says the Aburi Botanical Garden is being re-framed after the famous Kew Botanical Garden in London.

According to the Jubilee House, tourist centres such as the Yaa Asantewaa Memorial Museum and the Kente Museum in the Ashanti region are also currently undergoing renovation.

“Many of the tourist sites currently undergoing renovation includes the Aburi Botanical Gardens, modelled after the famous Kew Botanical Garden in London, the Yaa Asantewaa Memorial Museum and the Kente Museum, both in Kumasi”, the Jubilee House Posted on Facebook.

This comes after the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture announced the closure of the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park for the renovative works to take place.

Ghana’s Tourism economy, the Jubilee House says, is providing small-scale employment opportunities, such as travel and tours, handicrafts, music and dance, Ghanaian cuisine and many more, all with the potential of attracting investors into the sector.
