The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has recommended that students continue to wear the nose mask as a measure against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite President Akufo-Addo’s relaxation of the mandatory wearing of masks in public places among the double vaxxed, students are to go on with the custom.
They are to adhere to the mask-wearing directive while in an enclosed area like the classroom, the Ghana Education Service (GES) communicated in a release.
“The Ghana Health Service recommends the wearing of masks in all enclosed environments including classrooms and other areas which require large gatherings of students in the schools”, the GES said.
Meanwhile, the GES says it is reviewing the guidelines on the covid protocols which will be communicated in due course.
