Ghana Airports Company Appoints New MD

The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has named Madam Pamela Djamson-Tettey, a former Executive Director and Director of Corporate Relations at Diageo Ghana- Guinness Ghana Breweries (GGBL)- as the new Managing Director of the Company.

Pamela’s new position takes effect from Friday, February 18, 2022.

Her appointment comes after the fired Managing Director of the company, Yaw Kwakwa presented his resignation letter to the Board Members of GACL yesterday.

Per the credentials provided by GACL, Pamela has over 25 years of proven track record in Senior Management including 9 years in the mining industry, 9 years in the manufacturing sector and 5 years in the power sector.

She is also well networked with a confident approach and integrity, strategically astute, possesses a strong ability to build sustainable relationships, has excellent interpersonal communication and language skills, and has excellent analytical skills with a strong bias for political science, Government Relations, Community Relations, Environment, International relations and Diplomatic Protocols.

The GACL says she is versed in Corporate Communications, Public Policy, Stakeholder engagement, Strategic Planning, Corporate Brand Reputation, and Sustainable Development.

Pamela holds a BA degree in International Relations from the United States International University Herts, UK, and San Diego California, USA, Postgraduate Diploma, Politics and Diplomacy, the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, and an MA degree in International Relations, the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK

Additionally, she is an accredited member of the Institute of Public Relations in Ghana.
