The 2021/2022 FA Cup finals are set to take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the Kumasi.

The 2021/2022 season saw the participation of 110 clubs leaving two to battle in the finals.

According to the Chairman of the MTN FA Cup Committee, Mr. Wilson Arthur, he is hopeful the finals will pull out one of the best teams between Bechem United and Accra Hearts of Oak as their preparation and seriousness are high.

“We commenced the 2021/22 season with 110 clubs and we have only two clubs left and the finals will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. The two clubs are Bechem United and Accra Hearts of Oak.

“Looking at the engagements of these two teams I’m confident of getting one of the best finals seen in an FA Cup on the June 26 at Baba Yara.”

Mr Arthur was at the Manhyia Palace with other Management Committee members to inform the Asante King of the event.

He said it deems it appropriate to make such an announcement and seek consent from Otumfuo ahead of the finals.

“Kumasi as a city has an overlord and that organizing such events like this requires that the needful be done, we’ve been to the city mayor and the assemblies and then to the Asantehene.
