Exclusive: Kotoko Clears Evans Owusu’s Debt

Asante Kotoko Management has fully settled defender Evans Owusu all his remuneration, www. Opemsuo.com can confirm.

The former left-back for Asante Kotoko SC reported the Ghanaian giants to Ghana Football Association’s Players’ Status Committee on the club’s unilateral termination of his contract.

The Players’ Status Committee (PSC) of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in their ruling directed the Porcupine Warriors to pay all outstanding salaries and signing on fee to the young left-back.

According to grapevine source, the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has handed a check of Ghc33,000 to the player which settles all his remuneration to end the ligation.

Apart from Evans Owusu, the Ghanaian giants have also settled William Opoku Mensah, Abass Mohammed, Kelvin Mathew Andoh and Stephen Ayiku Tetteh.

The Porcupines take on Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro in the week 27 of the Ghana Premier League.
