Steps to Enable Two-step Verification on WhatsApp
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) of Ghana is encouraging social media users, particularly WhatsApp users to add an extra layer of security to secure their accounts using the Two-step verification.
Also known as the Two-factor authentication, the Authority in a statement stressed the need to subscribe to the steps to protect their accounts from hackers.
“Almost everyone is on WhatsApp, but have you enabled two-step verification yet? Protecting your account with an extra layer of security is crucial to avoid unauthorized access.”
It explained that the authentication process ensures that persons who get hold of a user’s password, can’t access their account without the second authentication step.
