“Drunk” Taxi Driver Knocks and Kills Pastor at Kasoa
A pastor identified as Joseph Kwaku Koranteng has lost his life in Kasoa in the Central Region after he was knocked by a speeding vehicle on Monday, June 24, 2024.
Reports say the retired clergyman of the Apostolic Church of Ghana met his untimely death while on his way for a routine medical checkup.
He was run over by the taxi with registration number GX 8200-20 at Kasoa Chrispo City, in the Awutu Senya East Municipality while crossing the road and gave up the ghost instantly.
Eyewitnesses say the driver was drunk and speeding, causing the accident but that is yet to be ascertained by the police.
The body of the pastor has since been deposited at a morgue while investigations have since been initiated.
The Pastor is said to have retired from the Apostolic Church of Ghana, Gomoa Nyanyano Branch.
