Dikro Pledges to Tackle Educational Challenges Head-On

Adumasa Traditional Area’s Dikro, Nana Owusu Banahene, has expressed his unwavering commitment to addressing educational challenges within his jurisdiction. Recognizing the pivotal role of education as the foundation of a nation, he has prioritized educational initiatives as part of the anniversary celebrations.

“Education is the bedrock of every country, and it is our top priority. As part of our anniversary celebration, we are providing educational materials to support schools and students in our area during and after the examinations,” he said.

In an interview with Opemsuo News, he highlighted the pressing issue of inadequate seating arrangements in public schools due to classroom congestion. 

“There are not enough chairs in our classrooms, causing congestion and hindering the learning process. My elders and I are prepared to tackle this issue head-on by providing 400 chairs to our schools immediately.”

Additionally, highlighting the unfortunate incident of armed robbery targeting the school, Nana Owusu Banahene lamented, “Recently, armed robbers attacked the school and stole our computers, undermining teaching and learning in our community. This has had a detrimental impact on the education of our students.”

Determined to overcome these challenges, Nana Owusu Banahene pledged to address them promptly to ensure a conducive learning environment for our students.

Also, he indicated that he intends to make sure Asantehene’s vision for the education sector is fulfilled.
