Bawumia Leaves Ghana For Swearing-In Of William Ruto

The vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia have left Ghana for Nairobi, Kenya.

The two together with other government officials will be attending the swearing-in ceremony of Kenya’s President-elect, William Ruto.

The ceremony will take place on August 13, 2022, at the Kasarani Sports Stadium.

The Ghanaian delegation will represent Ghana in the country and return on September 14.

The victory of Ruto over his main contender, Raila Odinga was echoed by the country’s Supreme Court last week.

Until his election, Ruto was the vice president of the Country.

The day for the swearing-in ceremony has been earmarked as a public holiday in Kenya.
