2021 Mid-Year Budget Review


This year’s mandatory constitutional requirement of presenting mid-year budget review to parliament took place on July 29, 2021, Thursday.
In his presentation the Finance Minster, Ken Ofori Atta, stated that government’s economic recovery policy was on course.
He noted that the focus of government for the year is centred on containing the corona virus pandemic, creating jobs, developing infrastructure, increasing revenue mobilisation, and rolling out digital technologies.
Conspicuously absent from the Budget was introduction of new taxes.
