Attitudinal Change Is Our Priority – Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah, has said the exercise embarked on by the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council to curb indiscipline among motorcycle and tricycle riders was geared towards attitudinal change.
Speaking on Opemsuo Radio on Monday September 6, 2021, he stressed that majority of riders are currently going by the laid down procedures.
According to the Regional Minister, the number of tricycle riders has reduced drastically for the past 6 days and it is a clear indication that most of the drivers were not having licenses and below 18 years.
“So far the Ashanti Regional Police has done well I must commend them for their service”, he said.
“Although the Police personnel are few they should try and be at places with higher concentration by running shift”, he suggested.
The Ashanti Regional Minister admonished the general public to help make the exercise a success by reporting riders who go contrary to road trafnsport rules and regulations.
