Asantehene Returns To Ghana

His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asante Monarch has arrived in Ghana after embarking on a private trip outside the country in July.

He arrived at the Kumasi International Airport on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at exactly 2 pm.

At the airport, dozens lined up to welcome the King.

Among the welcomers were traditional leaders like Mamponghene Daasebre Osei Bonsu and the Bantamahene, Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, Assumegyahene, Kontanasehene, and queen mothers.

Also present were government officials including the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, Asokore Mampong MCE, Hon Kennedy Kankam, the Old Tafo MCE, Hon Lord Inusah Lansah as well as the leadership of the REGSEC.

The King was ushered in with a beautiful display of kete dance by a cultural dance ensemble.
