Allotey Jacobs Tags Kuffour As Statesman After Lunch

Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress , Benard Allotey Jacobs has asked for forgiveness from former president John Agyekum Kuffuor for some lies he cooked and published about him ahead of the 2008 General Elections.

Allotey Jacobs made his intention to apologize to the former president in an interview and noted that the lies contributed to the NDC’s victory in the election which ousted the NPP Government in 2008.

He also noted that he wanted to render his apology to president Kuffuor in person.

In a post, Allotey Jacobs showed off footage of his meeting with the former president and announced president Kuffuor had forgiven him and lunched with him.

He described Former President Kuffuor as a “great statesman”.

He posted,”yesterday @ Aburi with Prez J.A Kufour when I met him to apologize for the propaganda against him when all that I said there was no iota of truth And as a great statesman he forgave me and had a lunch with me. Thank you President JA Kufour God bless you and keep you safe”.
