Adwoa Sarfo Sees “Opportunity” In Dismissal From Gender Ministry

The dismissed Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, has realised an opportunity in her dismissal.

This opportunity was communicated in her letter to the President in response to the revocation of her appointment.

According to the letter sighted by opemsuo.com, the Minister indicated that the development will enable her focus on the constituency she represents in Parliament, the Dome Kwabenya Constituency.

“Cognizant of my duties to the 75,000 constituents who eölected me, this development is an opportune and will afford me more time to concentrate on my parliamentary responsibilities and constituency engagements as well as consolidate the gains we have made as government at the constituency level in our quest to break the eight”, she said.

Adwoa Sarfo also expressed her “eternal” appreciation to the president for his “understanding, compassion and unending devotion” towards her during her absence from the office.
