Adwoa Sarfo “Impersonation”: Minority Claims To Possess Interesting Findings
The Minority in Parliament says it has in its possession, some interesting findings following the investigations it launched into the alleged impersonation of the Dome Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo.
In an interview on Eyewitness News, Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, revealed the investigation is at its conclusive stage.
Failing to relay the outcome of the investigations of the minority, the MP whets the appetite for the findings.
“We have very interesting findings. The decision is that at the appropriate time, the leadership of our side will present the findings, and will make the full findings public. We have indeed carried out investigations, we took a very serious view of the matter and we have very interesting findings”, he said.
Sarah Adwoa Sarfo was allegedly impersonated in parliament to help approve the government’s 2022 budget on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, while she had sought an extension of her leave to sort out personal issues.
The said woman, according to video footage, was seen wearing a nose mask and then leaving the Parliamentary chamber right after the headcount which led to the approval of the budget statement.
Attention to the said person sparked when, on the next day which was a Wednesday, Adwoa Sarfo stormed the Parliamentary Chamber with a different hairstyle and without a nose mask.
Although the MP rubbished the allegations on the floor of Parliament, the minority seem to hold fast to it.
