Adwoa Sarfo: “I’m Not Gonna Respond To Third Parties”

The embattled parliamentary representative of the people of Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has declared that her stance is still with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the past few months, in the absence of Adwoa Sarfo especially during the saga with the passage of the E-levy Bill in Parliament, some leaders of the NPP accused her of playing mischief against the party.

But when the opportunity finally came to hear her side of the story in an interview with JoyNews on May 26, 2022, she said “I’m not gonna respond to third parties, what they think and what their opinions are”.

She says the condition of her son who is based in the United States of America (USA) is the sole reason why she has remained away from her Parliamentary and Ministerial duties.

She assured that she is committed to the party.

“I haven’t given up on my party. I am still very loyal and committed to the party and to His Excellency the President. I have had a record of the 2012 election petition from Dome Kwabenya and that is what landed all of us in power today and I will be the last person to put that record that I’ve fought for into disrepute at this time.”
