Accra Court Remands Lebanese Into Police Custody

The Accra Circuit Court has remanded a Lebanese in Ghana, Osman Brustani into police custody.

The Lebanese citizen was captured in a viral video allegedly threatening to kill another with a sword.

He was arrested by the police yesterday, April 13 and was put before the court today, April 14 where he was remanded.

He will reappear on April 22, 2022, the police said in a statement.

“Having put the accused person before the court in line with due process it is now for the court to make a determination on the case”, the police said in a statement.
